Some personal data may be transmitted by the Internet user by answering the forms suggested to the user on the Site. Entering this data is necessary for processing the internet user's request by the French Biodiversity Agency.

The French Biodiversity Agency undertakes to comply with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and modified freedoms and to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 known as "RGPD". All necessary precautions to preserve the security of the nominative information entrusted will be taken by the French Biodiversity Agency.

Personal data processed and processing purposes

The French Biodiversity Agency collects personal data from Internet users who have made contact via the contact form on the site. These data are necessary in order to respond to the request of Internet users. Only the following personal data, strictly necessary for their contact request, are processed: first name, last name, telephone, and email address.

Recipients of personal data

Personal data collected on the site is processed by the French Biodiversity Agency only.

Personal data is stored on hosting servers located in France.
To ensure the security of our website, our database is backed up daily. For this we use a third-party “cloud” service, which also stores your data collected via our contact form on secure servers.

Retention period of personal data

The French Biodiversity Agency undertakes to keep this personal data, unless there is a legal or regulatory obligation to the contrary, for a maximum period of three years from the last contact with the Internet user.

At the end of this period or in the event of the exercise of its rights by Internet users, the French Biodiversity Agency undertakes to destroy any copy of the personal data of Internet users that they hold.

Security of personal data

The French Biodiversity Agency undertakes, under the obligation of means, to take all useful precautions and to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in this area to guarantee an appropriate level of security and to protect the personal data of Internet users against alterations, destruction and unauthorised access.

Internet users' rights over their personal data

Internet users have the possibility of exercising their rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation of processing, portability of their personal data, the right not to be the subject of an individual automated decision and the right to revoke their consent, regarding the personal data they provide.

The French Biodiversity Agency undertakes to respond to it as soon as possible and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request.

If Internet users consider that the processing of their personal data constitutes a violation of the current legislation, Internet users have the possibility of lodging a complaint with the CNIL.

Confidentiality of personal data

The French Biodiversity Agency guarantees the confidentiality of the processed personal data and ensures that the people authorised to process such personal data also undertake to respect this obligation of confidentiality.

The French Biodiversity Agency uses Google Analytics to track site traffic statistics.

The French Biodiversity Office undertakes to process anonymously the collected data and to deactivate "data sharing".

RESPONSABILITY

The French Biodiversity Agency declines all responsibility for any malfunctions that may arise on the site and lead to loss of data or unavailability of access to the information produced on it. The French Biodiversity Agency cannot guarantee the absence of modification by a third party (intrusion, virus). The internet user is solely responsible for the use he makes of the content of the Site.
